Saliba Center TriStates 100 Fundraising Recap

On Saturday, May 6, 2023, the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center hosted the TriStates 100 and their “Tykes on Trikes” at the Bethel Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama.
The TriStates 100 began with breakfast for the riders provided by Bethel Baptist Church before the first departure at 7 am for those taking on the 100-mile plus challenge. The Century event took participants into Georgia and Florida before returning to Dothan, Alabama. Other rides consisted of 63, 43, or 25 miles. Upon their return, all riders could enjoy a post-ride lunch and a trip to the 360-degree photo booth.

The “Tykes on Trikes” event kicked off at 11 am, with children able to participate in numerous activities before having lunch. After eating, riders mounted their trikes and rode a little after 1:00, with all children successfully reaching the finish line. At the conclusion, each child had his or her photograph taken on the new tricycle that was theirs to keep.

The next Saliba Center TriStates 100 and Tykes on Trikes are scheduled for June 2024.
